Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) s a method of construction using lightweight and hollow insulation forms that join together and are then filled with concrete. The concrete, once set, becomes a high-strength structure protected and insulated by the formwork that remains in place.
ICF provides superior air tightness in comparison to more traditional methods and virtually eliminates thermal bridging. As the concrete sets directly in contact with the insulation this also prevents thermal looping.
JLCE are specialists in ICF and Insulated Raft construction saving money, reducing build times and improving the thermal efficiency of your project.
